i believe our brains should be used not for storing information, but for thinking.

so from time to time, i write out a list of things i need to unload from my brain.   i did that this afternoon as i was sitting in my happy place – at a beach, watching surfers.   usually i label this my brain dump.  but this time i entitled the page “things i’ve been procrastinating on”  with two columns on the page.  on the left side, i wrote down the list of things.  on the right, i wrote down the real why i hadn’t done those things.

it certainly was a very interesting exercise, and i was actually quite amazed to see the reasons written out.  and question whether any of these are actually valid.
